Orange Slime

Don't ask, I have no idea what this is. While at the photo shoot at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale, NY, I noticed one tree / bush had these orange slime balls growing on some of it's branches. I would say about 20 of these balls. however, most were not formed like this, they were more drippy dangling slime cones. Very strange. Anyone have a clue what this is?

The Blue Angels - The Approach and Landing

After taking off, we waited about 45 minutes for the Blue Angels to perform at the air show at Jones Beach and then return. We watched the sky for their approach when out of no where they were on top of us in formation. They did a fly-by over the airport in formation then split off from the formation with twists and turns. Then, off in the distance they lined up for their landings which they did one at time.

The Blue Angels - The Takeoff!

I had the opportunity to go to the airport where the Blue Angels were taking off and landing from during an air show on Long Island, NY this weekend. I will post of the pictures over the next few days.

Today we start with the takeoff... My ears are still ringing from the sound of the engines. It was a beautiful site. View them in order. Enjoy...
